History of Ramblin' Cajuns
In 1994, at the 22nd Louisiana State Rally, April 5-10th in Baton Rouge Louisiana, "Red" Tolbird, Louisiana State Manager, was approached by Jack Warren (62988) of Brooklyn Park Minnesota. Jack and several of his friends had attending the Louisiana State Rallies for a number of years, and wanted to return some of the good fellowship and fine times they always had at these Rallies, by establishing a Chapter composed of HOLIDAY RAMBLER members from ANYWHERE and EVERYWHERE.
The purpose of the Chapter being formed was to be of assistance to Louisiana members in gratitude for the good times they had experienced. The first Official Business Meting was held in April of 1995 at the 23rd Louisiana State Rally April 9, 1995. This is the largest Chapter ever receiving a Charter in HRRVC. At this first Rally, members spent one day helping with the parking, one morning hosting hospitality, serving at the men's luncheon entertained one evening with spit, and some of the ladies modeled at the luncheon given for the women.
